Seems everybody wants something for nothing. A little extra, a bonus, a freebie, whatever names you may give it.

It is a sad state of affairs that society has gotten to this point. Everyone wants, even expects something for nothing. We want the “free with purchase”, the BOGO, the bonus 60 for the price of 30 and so on. Of course, we are actually paying for what we think we are getting for free without being aware that we are. Did we really need that item? Would we have bought it at all if we did not get something extra? Probably not Clever marketing when you think about it.

The sad state of the economy has sent huge numbers of people to the internet in search of an alternative way to make a little extra money. Some take a realistic approach, meaning that they have the good sense to understand that operating a business or online program from home will require both a monetary and a time commitment. And they do not fear it. They embrace the challenge and do not expect “hand outs”.

Other folks are taken in by the “something for nothing” temptation. You know the ones

“Join our team for free” Or “Start this business with no money”

Sounds good, right? Hey, you can be in business without spending a dime! Wrong! In almost every instance, you will be required to open your wallet to upgrade or buy a product in order to actually be in a position to make any money.

Consider this. Would McDonald’s or Starbucks hand over one of their dealerships for nada? NOT! Then why would it be any different in internet business?

It can also be easy to buy into some internet sellers who offer up irresistible motivators in their promoting. Things like “I will advertise for you”, “I will give you 1000′s of free leads”, “and “I will hold your hand and do all the work for you”. The most difficult to refuse is “I guarantee your success”.

Everyone wants the biggest bang for their buck. I suppose that it is human nature. But if someone you do not know (and probably shouldn’t trust) starts offering you the moon think twice.

This is particularly important in terms of cash gifting. Cash gifting has become the most popular formula for getting cash both online and offline. Bank closedowns, people being cleaned of their nest egg and the disgraceful state of the economy have caused cold hard cash in hand to be very magnetic to an ever increasing list of people. Gifting activities like Abundant Living and Epic Wealth which are extremely low-cost have ranks that are growing in leaps and bounds.

A word of caution for those debating a gifting program it is really crucial to know that extending an inducement of any kind is altogether illegal. If you encounter such an offer, run in the other direction. Not from the company necessarily but unquestionably from the person. These people are caught sooner or later and booted out from the program.

Who out there, has the time, to really enjoy this amazing earth. It truly is most unfortunate that the majority of people spend most of their time either working, or running errands, or worrying, or any other thing, that does not express the joy of simply being alive.. I am with these words assure you that it does not need to be that way, that you can actually chose another way to live. It is one of the most incredible realizations that anyone can ever have. In fact it is in “getting it” that this concept really reveals the validity inherent in it. If not for any other reason ,than it is simply the only way to live the life that’s in your heart.

In the process of taking control, there is some misinformation about what that really means, so lets clear up a few things. I imagine that most people have heard of the saying about having the wisdom to change that which we can change, and to accept that which we cannot change. To me the misinformation is about the limits of that which we can change. I have found that if we really chose to change things, we can accomplish unbelievable things. Of course this is absolutely not fantasy. It is about real and practical specifics ,that we each can do everyday. It is in that vein of thought ,that I come to one of the most important issues to get control of in your life…. that is money. Most of the time when people think of transforming their lives, it’s about many things, but without money or as I call it, monetary insurance, there are some very problematic restraints.

So how can you take control of your life, and conversely your money? Well it’s a good idea when tackling a problem, to look to those who have already solved that problem. One thing that’s clear is owning your own business. Whether your talking about Donald Trump, or Dr. Wayne Dyer, they are the source from which the money they manifest comes from. This also presents an obstacle that really trips up a lot of people…… how do I get started? What I did, is purchase an affiliateship with an already successful company. This solved most of the initial problems in one clean swoop. It allows you to be completely in charge of your piece of the business ,so you don’t have to worry about getting the product onto the market ,or any of the major hurdles a new company must conquer.

I know a company with a great product, that has absolutely no ethical nor environmental issues. It provides people with literally a lifetime of wonderful experiences, along with incredible savings. But even more to the point, you get to truly walk the path of financial freedom by helping other do the same. It is such an amazing thing, that by doing so, most people get a new, and deeper appreciation of their own lives. Well, that is the company I work with. If this thought ever occurred to you, then you need to know something wonderful exists. If you’ve ever thought to yourself that you’d sure like more time to spend with your children or loved ones, then you need to know that your not alone. In fact both me and and my team are in this business to change that so you can. The reality is that everyday life is usually to overwhelming to allow for time to travel, or to soak in the amazing artists of today, or even to spend a quality day at home. Our lives, with all of there technological marvels haven’t seem to cut down the burden of work. It seems to me, that although the new gadgets were supposed to make life easier, they just don’t seem to. In the end they seem to make us busier, and our lives even more complicated. Is there a way out? What can you do?

Lots,…. you can do anything you want. All it takes is deciding to do the work. Imagine that your life is like being adrift on the ocean. First you need to survive, so your usually checking out the horizon for whatever may be there, to see if it can bring some benefit to your situation. The days come and go, and sometimes you find something great ,other times there isn’t much to see, but you always find what you need. That for many people is life,.. drifting around hoping for good things to come their way. To me, that’s literally gambling with your life, and I assure you there is a much better way than just drifting and hoping. Most people forget but it doesn’t have to be that way.

First of all you have paddles. You can use your own strength to move in any direction you want to a degree. This is a lot of work, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes. There’s something else which I believe is more important, there is the winds. Once you know how to harness the power of the wind, you can go anywhere you want, whenever you want, without anymore effort than overseeing the direction your heading. This metaphor has some very obvious links to people in the world we know. First, what do we call someone without direction? We say they are “drifting”. They are just floating along, often not even sure about any aspect of their lives never mind getting what they want out of it. Then we all know (or are) the kind of person that works all the time. They just sleep and work ,and of course they get a lot done. Sometimes they’re able to do amazing things. The downside unfortunately is when all you do is sleep and work, then it doesn’t leave much time for relaxing, or pursuing ones heartfelt desires.

Finally there are some people who’ve got the winds of the world under control, and it’s they, who can decide to the letter, what they want to spend their time doing. Whats the difference? In a word it’s “choices”. The most important choice then, is…. what are your priorities?. What holds the most value for you in your life, and what are you willing to do to get out of life what you want? All these choices are made by everyone, everyday there is no escape, because even if we always do what we’ve always done, that in itself is a choice. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to think the path of least resistance is to go with the flow, and not take control. This is, at best, a shortsighted method of doing things.

You see, doing only what is safest for you in the moment, holds no promises for the future. If one does not prepare for the winter, then times tend to get real tough. The alternative is to see your life as a whole, and begin doing today that which will benefit you tomorrow. If you were to ask virtually anybody if they’d be willing to spend 5 years working hard in order to comfortably retire for the remainder of their lives afterwords, most would happily say,” yes!”. Then I must ask why more people don’t do just that. It can be done, and I think the answer is, most people don’t realize just how easy it is.

One of the things that really keeps me going is knowing that most of the the millionaires who have come out of the world of home business and life empowerment really are rags to riches stories. Most do not come from wealthy or royal families. Most are working class people and come from middle class families. Others have been downright poor and still managed to succeed. Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Napoleon Hill,… all of these people made themselves. They may have learned from others, as we all should, do but they found how to take control in their own way, and it does what it always does it gave them all they could want… and more.

I am on that path, and am honored to be sharing it with so many great people. I also love to travel, and to seek fun an adventure, so my path at the moment, has incredible destinations built right in. In fact it’s a integral part of the business I work with. I am right now a member of a great supportive team, were everyone does all they can to help everyone else.
